ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS COMPUTER SCIENCE

APPLICANT MUST HAVE A MINUMIM OF 5 CREDITS IN MATHEMATICS, ENGLISH LANGUAGE AND PHYSICS AND ANY OTHER 2 SUBJECTS IN NOT MORE THAN TWO SITTINGS

 

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS ACCOUNTING

200 LEVEL

  1. APPLICANT MUST HAVE A MINUMIM OF 5 CREDITS IN MATHEMATICS, ENGLISH LANGUAGE, ECONOMIC/ACCOUNTING/COMMERCE AND ANY OTHER 2 SUBJECTS IN NOT MORE THAN TWO SITTINGS
  2. Candidates must possess passes in 3 WAEC/GCE/Cambridge Advanced Level (A’Level) Certificate with a Minimum of C, which must include Accounting, Mathematics and Economics.  
  3. In addition to requirement 1, ATS 3/ATSWA 3/Fundamental Level of Professional Examination/ACCA, ICAN passes in F1, F2, F3, F4 
  4. OND-Minimum of Upper Credit/HND- in Banking and Finance Minimum of Lower Credit. 

 

300 LEVEL

  1. A minimum of 5 credits in English, Mathematics, Economics/Accounting/Commerce and any other 2 subjects in not more than two sittings
  2. HND Accounting, Banking and Finance upper credit, lower credit will be consider too 
  3. Professional certificate/ICAN  
  4. Applicants with HND will be considered for direct entry without NYSC



ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR MASS COMMUNICATION (B.SC.)

  1. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 credits in Mathematics, English Language, Literature-in-English, and two other arts or social science subjects in not more than two sittings.
  2. Applicants must possess a Diploma in Mass Communication, Journalism or related disciplines from any institution approved by the Senate of the University with not less than a CGPA of 3.0. Candidates with GCE ‘A Level’, and JUPEB may be considered.  
  3. Inter-university transfer mode: Learners can transfer into 200-Level courses provided they have the relevant qualifications. Universities are to satisfy themselves that the grades obtained by such candidates are acceptable.
